These coins are the first of their kind to feature the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, as issued by the United States government. The $5 coin contains 0. 2419 oz of gold. The dollar contains 0. 7734 oz of silver. The half dollar contains copper/nickel bonded to a pure copper inner core. It also, comes in the US Mint box and the Certificate of Authenticity. ** Included w/ COA is the 1986 Liberty Gold Five Dollar & the 1986 Liberty Half Dollar Specifications Slips ** / **NOT Included is the 1986 Liberty Silver Dollar Specifications Slip ** Obverse: The $5 gold coin shows the Statue of Liberty's head from below. The silver dollar features a frontal view of the Statue of Liberty. The New York skyline is on the half dollar. Reverse: On the $5 gold coin, the design combines a traditional layout and lettering with a modern treatment of the familiar eagle symbol. The silver dollar features the Torch of Liberty, and the half dollar features an immigrant family arriving at Ellis Island. Condition: Packaging does show signs of wear & tear.
